We had started to get oil presure problems during track events when the car is pushed substantialy harder then during normal trafic use, making this upgrade a necesity. The replacement oil line fiting increases oil presure and reduces oil foaming.

Replace rear light clusters:

The rear lights had started to behave eraticaly, periodicaly failing and giving bad eart problems. We did atempt to repair one cluster (left hand side), but with limited success. Due to the substantial ammount of corotion on the units, we opted to replace both with new ones.

July 2006

Heater System Backdate:

this project was primeraly undertaken to reduce rear end weight and improve engine cooling. But also assists in reducing a large amount of clutter in the engine bay facilitating better access for undertaking repairs and service without having to drop the engine.

July 2006

Replace Pedal Cluster Bushings and Reconditioning:

The clutch had started to bind, making clutch contol unpredictable. Affter closser inspection we found that the bushings had deteriorated substantialy, and the compleat cluster was in need of some attention.

May 2006

Replace Shift Bushings and Upgrade to Porsche Factory Short-shift:

Due to extensive slop in the shifting system and linkage to the transmission, we investigated all bushings within the system (including the shift coupler). On closer inspection we found the bushings to have deteriorated substantially and in need of replacement. We took this opportunity to both upgrade to superior aftermarket bushings from Weltmister, and the OEM Porsche factory short-shift which reduces the shifting throw substantialy.

May 2006

Engine and Transmission Oil Change:

As part of the process for taking the car out from winter storage, all fluids are checked and replaced if required. This time both engine and transmission oil was replaced.
.- Engine Oil: Mobil Formula S 10W-40
.- Transmission Oil: Swepco 201

April 2006

RUF SpeedLine:

Wanting to obtain better traction we opted to upgrade to wider rims. Whilst the RUF SpeedLine rims are not the lightest option on the market, they are period correct and renound for strength and quolity. Aditionaly, we managed to pick up a set requiring some cosmetic reconditioning at a very good price.
